Whose deafening screams have awoke the Heavens?

Thy shield is bloodied and thine hope is shattered,

Beg the support and advice of thy Father.

Feel the power when we are together?

Unite, and the bygone glory won’t blind our eyes.

High cliffs guard the stronghold,

Where we keep perpetual watch.

The old man once told us about a battle,

About the way of old times and the change of epochs,

And how Father tempered metal,

In Heaven’s forge, creating armor.

The time has come to wake up from sleep;

We’ll breathe in the power of the mountains.

The sky rumbles and the horn sounds,

Sons of the North are prepared to fight!

Twinkling stars charm and lure,

The sound of waves crashing against the mighty Drakkar,

The cries of the gulls and the howling of the wind high up —

There’s nothing more comforting and sweet for us.
