One thing I desire of the Lord,

and that I may seek after,

that I may dwell in the house

of the Lord forever.

And to inquire in His temple,

in time of trouble He hides me.

(In the sacrifice of the temple).

He shall hide me,

He shall set me high upon the rock.

And now my head shall be lifted above

and enemies all around me,

and therefore I offer sacrifice to the Lord forever.

One thing that I desire,

Одного я желаю от Господа,

и что я могу искать,

что я могу жить в доме

Господа навсегда.

И вопрошать в Его храме,

во время скорби Он укрывает меня.

(В жертве храма).

Он скроет меня,

Он поставит меня высоко на скале.

И теперь моя голова будет поднята выше

и враги вокруг меня,

и поэтому я приношу жертву Господу навеки.

Одного я желаю,

что я буду искать,

что я могу жить

в доме навсегда.
